PRODUCT CARE

Each piece is finished with a food-safe oil or oil-wax combination to preserve the wood’s natural beauty.

 To clean your wooden items, wipe with a damp towel as needed or rinse gently and dry immediately. Never submerge your wood wares in water or put them in the dishwasher to avoid cracking or unintended warping. Also, avoid harsh soaps that will wear down the natural finish. If the wood begins to look dry, reapply a natural food-safe oil (mineral oil, walnut oil, hemp oil, beeswax, etc.) using a soft cloth. Let the wood absorb the oil for a few hours and then buff with a cloth. Do not use olive oil as it will go rancid with time. 

If you notice your piece getting a bit “furry,” it’s due to contact with moisture. This textural change is part of the natural process of how wood interacts with water and will happen with love and use. If you choose, you can smooth out the furring with a very fine sandpaper (we use grit 320).

Please contact within 7 days for returns.

Customer is responsible for return shipping fees and should insure package for full value of the item (s). If you have received any items that were damaged in transit please reach out to us as soon as possible with detailed photos. Damages must be reported within 7 days after delivery to be eligible for refund or replacement.

All shipping is done via USPS to the lower 48 states only. International shipping is not available at this time.

We pack all products in recycled material whenever possible—if when you receive your wood wares they come in a pre-used box or are padded with newspaper or brown bags, it's part of our effort to be as conscious about sustainability as possible.
